"Battery lasts way longer than I thought"
The battery has been really great. I only charge it maybe once a week, and most of the time it still has plenty left. I was surprised by how long it lasts

"Fits well and seems built to last"
My dog wears this every day and it’s been totally fine so far. Reading between the lines, that pretty much says it all for me—if he’s comfortable in it and it’s holding up with daily use, I’m happy.

"Pretty good deal, even if I can’t remember how long I’ve had it"
I’ve had Whistle for a few months now, or maybe it’s been longer i kind of lost track. Either way, the subscription has felt worth it to me. The app is simple enough to use, and I really like being able to check where my dog is when he’s outside with the sitter. The health tracking stuff is a nice bonus too. It’s not perfect every single time, but for what I’m paying each month, I feel like I get a lot out of it.

"Support helped eventually, but I expected a little more"
I had to reach out to customer support because my whistle device wasn’t updating properly. They were polite and did eventually get it fixed, but it took a couple of days and I had to explain the same issue more than once, which was frustrating. I’m glad it’s working now, but for the hassle and delay, I expected some kind of credit, discount, or small compensation. Overall it wasn’t terrible, just not as smooth as I hoped

"I really wanted to like Whistle, but..."
I really wanted to like Whistle, but the GPS has been frustrating. Sometimes it shows my dog across the street when he’s right next to me, or says he’s still at home even though we already left. The updates can be slow too. The app itself is fine, but for the price, I expected the tracking to be a lot more reliable. What’s also annoying is that when something seems off, it’s not really clear what I’m supposed to do next, recalibrate it, refresh it, contact support, or just wait? It leaves you kind of guessing.

"Maybe it's just me, but the app is frustrating"
The tracker itself seems like it might be fine, but the app kind of drives me nuts. I feel like it takes way too many taps to find basic things, unless I'm just missing something obvious. It also loads slowly sometimes, and I've been logged out twice for no clear reason. It's not the worst app ever, but I expected it to be a lot easier to use.
